Report 7: Ouahigouya


UPPER VOLTA   Having left Dori on 29 January 1938, Savineau arrived in the Upper Volta (as Burkina-Faso was called under French occupation) at Ouahigouya, having stopped off at Aribinda in the French Sudan on the way. She spent 30-31 January in Ouahigouya, where she witnessed a departure of Mossi settlers recruited for the Niger Office.
